Here’s what lessons
can look like:
-
We work on vocal technique and apply that technique to songs of your choice, so you can sing your songs the way YOU want to with comfort, ease, and confidence
-
We focus on the fundamentals of jazz singing: scatting/improvisation, phrasing, swing feel, song interpretation & storytelling, communicating with your bandmates, knowing what to do at a jam session
-
I teach you how to make lead sheets using Musescore, a free notation program
-
I come to your gig/performance, and we meet up afterwards and I give you feedback
-
We hash out everything that needs to happen for a special upcoming performance/gig/recording session so you’ll feel confident and prepared
